Dream Theme Photo Booths Help to Break the Ice at Events

By S. Mathur

Nothing breaks the ice at parties like the funny hats and props that come with photo booths. It's a chance for quieter guests to let down their hair and join in the fun. Technology like digital cameras, compact printers and flat screen monitors made photo booths possible, and then wildly popular. For all kinds of parties, from weddings to sweet sixteens, they are in high demand.

Fred Kindle and Shirley Leto, the Photographer/Manager team at Dream Theme Photo Booths, have thirty-five years of photography experience, and see photo booths as contributing to the fun of any event: "The best way to describe our photo booth experience, is that our subjects get a chance to break away from the event and have fun being light hearted and comical, or just get a normal photo of theirs that they can take home. They can dress up with many props, and have even more fun reacting to the many scenes we put them in with our multiple theme specific backgrounds."

The backgrounds and props allow party goers to create their own stories. These can feature the Titanic, 1920s flappers, the boxing ring, superheroes, a red carpet at a movie premiere, and more. Dream Theme Photo Booths come with a high degree of professionalism, and themes are customized for clients. The pre-event theme consultation helps to create the right atmosphere.

Fred and Shirley explain that "We pride ourselves on our creativity and welcome our clients to share their theme with us so we can customize the backgrounds to match their ideas seamlessly. We use chroma key compositing or "Green Screen" technology to magically cast our subjects into scenes that they have great fun interacting with. Each photo is branded with a one-of-a-kind custom tagline specific to your event."

Like photographers, photo booth operators need to establish a rapport with guests at the event, they add: "We pride ourselves on our punctuality and professionalism, but we also know how to interact with your guests to keep the smiles coming. There is barely an event where our line dies down. We recommend photo booths for an ice-breaker at parties, and also it gives your less active guests a great chance to let their hair down when they normally wouldn't have."

The combination of dress up and play acting, and the cameras to record it all, works time after after time and at party after party. Photo booths have become one of the most popular props at parties of every kind, and are likely to continue. Dream Theme Photo Booths has won awards like Thumbtack's Best of 2015 and Best of 2016, and Weddingwire's Couples' Choice Award for 2016. They serve all of Connecticut, eastern New York State, and southern Massachusetts.
