Find Sweets for Any Occasion at Pink Box Desserts

Pink Box Desserts is a paradise for anyone who loves sweets. Their specialty is custom cakes, but they also have an extensive lineup of gourmet cupcakes, Italian and French pastries, and regional favorites. There is something for every occasion at Pink Box. In fact, couples planning their weddings love the bake shop for its out-of-the-box and bold approach to preparing sweets. With nearly two dozen cupcake flavors, over 16 daily flavors of macarons, and over 15 different types of pastries, Pink Box raises the bar for desserts.

Before opening their current location, the shop operated as an educational center offering classes, camps, date nights, and birthday parties. After a few years, today's popular retail store location opened up where guests could purchase desserts on the spot without having to place a special order. The business bloomed in no time.

"I would describe our menu as a foodie's dream," team coordinator Tammy Greenspan said. "We have the [regular] flavors and then we have twists of flavors to amaze your palate [and] we offer a variety of Togo cakes, cupcakes, pastries and French macarons daily in our cases."

Digging into the pastry menu, you'll see bake shop classics like cannoli, strawberry shortcake, and whoopee pies, but also European specialties like Sfogiatelle, Bismarck, and Napoleon. Another signature dessert at Pink Box is the macaron, a French sandwich cookie that melts in the mouth and is featured in a dozen different flavors.

The macaron blends intense flavor, a soft interior, a slight crunch, and a sweet and salty taste to produce a multifaceted treat. The gourmet macaron flavors at Pink Box include lemon, raspberry, cotton candy, honey lavender, and passionfruit among many others. With a complexity of nuanced notes and a rich texture, macarons have become a new favorite of dessert lovers in the U.S.

Finally, Pink Box's custom cakes are definitely something to rave about. Eight base flavors can be paired with your favorite fillings such as chocolate, lemon, hazelnut, strawberry Grand Marnier, or fresh raspberry. Each cake can be made to order with all the bells and whistles a customer might require. The shop plans and designs wedding cakes and dessert stations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, and perhaps with more location to come.
