Seaside CrossFit Welcomes All Fitness Levels and Caters to Your Individual Needs

At Seaside CrossFit, members won't find a room full of heavy, intimidating machinery. Instead, the Wareham, MA gym uses bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, rowing machines and other methods for intensive training in movements that are found in everyday life.

The CrossFit affiliate has programs for and can train beginner athletes and experienced professional athletes. In fact, one of the benefits of CrossFit training is the ability for all fitness levels to perform. Each unique individual's program is customized to their fitness level with differing weight loads, intensity and durations. 

"Our trainers give individual or small group sessions that help clients meet their individual needs," Jenn Christopher says. "Each training session is one hour and is sure to challenge clients and help them get out of their comfort zone. We have nutritional guidance as part of this program." 

For beginners of a CrossFit training program, Seaside CrossFit says they gradually introduce members to the fitness curriculum with the fundamentals courses. These teach proper movement first and foremost in an environment that allows for safe practice. Once members complete these courses and have perfected their form, they can move on to the group classes where instructors help each member determine appropriate weight limits and the weightlifting is on. 

Private coaching is also an option at Seaside CrossFit. Coaches work one-on-one with members to achieve individual fitness goals. Sessions are entirely catered to the client to target their weaknesses and enhance their strengths. For some, private coaching is recommended before moving onto the group classes, especially in the case of a current or recent pregnancy, orthopedic injuries or performance-oriented goals including triathlons. 

The nutrition program offered at Seaside CrossFit is also one-on-one. Nutrition coaches determine a proper nutrition plan for each person's body, including what types of foods they should be eating, when to eat and how much should be eaten. The purpose is to remove all forms of second-guessing an athlete's nutrition. It's designed to be a flexible program, yet will offer members results they're looking for. This nutrition service is part of what makes Seaside CrossFit more than just a place to work out. 

"Seaside CrossFit is more than a gym," Christopher says. "What makes Seaside CrossFit different from other gyms is our community. Building a strong community is our overriding principle and is what we spend the majority of our time on.
