Vegetarians Can Delight in Dosa 'n Curry's Fusion Cuisine

By Elisha Neubauer

By now, I'm sure you've heard of a fusion restaurant. They're popping up everywhere; the latest and greatest trend in the American dining industry. And it's no surprise, who doesn't love a good mash-up? Naturally, as just about every niche of food began pairing up, there had to be a vegetarian fusion to round out the options. Welcome Dosa 'n Curry to the scene; a blend of North Indian, South Indian, and Indo-Chinese vegetarian options.

The partners who founded Dosa 'n Curry are all vegetarians themselves who were struggling to find Indian vegetarian options in the Boston area. They decided to end the struggle and take care of the problem themselves.

"Being vegetarian, I know how hard it is to find something vegetarian to eat outside," one of the founding members of Dosa 'n Curry tells us. "Our kitchen is free of eggs, meat, and Sea food. People can trust and eat without worrying of cross contamination of non veg with veg food, you just come and enjoy your meal."

Their unique blend of food is unlike anything else, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. "To keep variety in vegetarian food, we have South Indian, North Indian and few choices of Chinese items with a little indian touch in it," a staff member details. "North Indian curries, South Indian Dosas (crepes made of rice flour, lentils, and semolina) and indo-Chinese noodles along with few other choices."

For those interested in giving Dosa 'n Curry a shot, we picked the brain of an employee to determine the best options for a first timer. "For first time customers, Gobi 65 from appetizers, Paneer Tikka Masala from North Indian curries, Temple special Masala Dosa from south Indian Crepes are few of the popular items and my personal favorites," states the Dosa 'n Curry member. "But do not limit yourself to just these items; there are plenty more tasty selections in the menu with Vegan and gluten free choices."
