Shiretown Glass was founded in 1963 by William P. Hallisey, Sr. Bill and his wife Beverly, opened the business on Water Street in downtown Plymouth. The Company grew out of it's location and moved to 186 Standish Avenue in Plymouth, where it remains in operation today. Bill Hallisey Jr. started working side by side with his father in 1983. They worked together growing the business until Bill Sr. retired in 2001. Over the years, Shiretown grew into the largest home improvement business on the South Shore winning countless achievement awards. Today Bill Hallisey Jr. ensures that each home improvement project meets, if not exceeds, the same quality and service standards his father guaranteed over 40 years ago.
