The Town of East Brookfield, birthplace of Connie Mack of baseball fame, sits astride the old Bay Path in Central Massachusetts and shares three beautiful lakes with neighboring towns.
This friendly community, youngest in the Commonwealth, was incorporated in 1920 when the Honorable Calvin Coolidge was Governor. Town residents take pride in their school system, churches, town services, senior citizen activities and the many volunteers who make municipal holiday observances possible and secure the success of the town's charitable events. The Fourth of July celebration is a family affair, capped with a massive fireworks display that attracts thousands of spectators.
East Brookfield has a nine-hole golf course, bowling lanes, lakes for swimming, sailing, fishing and water sports, a Little League ball field and year-round Recreation Department activities for residents' enjoyment. The town also has many small businesses providing for community needs and giving employment to many.
Town residents are fond of the small community and proud of what has been accomplished since East Brookfield was founded.
